With L3, you can now experience the funky astigmatic characteristics of classic anamorphic lenses, even when using spherical optics. This lens will simulate the vertical and horizontal depth of field effects typically seen in vintage anamorphic glass, without the flares or bokeh.
The L3 Tuner seamlessly integrates into your existing camera rig, allowing you to adjust the look and character of your images in real-time, right during the shot. Available in RF Mount, the L3 Tuner is compatible with Sony E Mount and RF Mounts on Canon and RED cameras. The EF Tuners come with built-in electronics support for autofocus, aperture control, and image stabilization of electronic lenses from Canon, Sigma, and Tamron. Please note that the EF version does not allow for changing camera mounts due to the integrated electronics.
On the other hand, the PL mount Tuner supports a wide range of PL mount glass, as long as the rear elements do not protrude too far from the mount. With no electronics, users can easily swap mounts to any mirrorless camera, including Sony E, Canon RF, L Mount for Blackmagic, Panasonic, Leica, and Fujifilm X.
